Place this bean sprout shells pillow gently over the baby chest when they are sleeping. As tradition and people believes that, by spreading evenly  (the shells) over the chest can helps them (newborn/ baby) to sleep better. It also gives the baby the sense of security and comfort. With the security of this pillow, it can also reduce the sudden loud noise and movement that can startle them.

In those olden days, people uses Green Bean, Yes, those for green bean soup to make the pillows. But due to the weight add on to the baby, it was later converted in to the husk / shell for "Ya Jin"=reduce the startled movement. Not only this, green bean also had the cooling effect that is why till now, many including the young generation also heard of this pillow.
